We aggregate the public layer across 70+ DISCOMs.

  • A regulatory tracker across CERC + 5 SERCs.

    Structured ingestion, topic-tagged, version-chained.

  • An MCP layer for energy data.

Your AI agents call our endpoints. Skip the 9-month build.

We don’t sell data, ad slots, or “premium tiers” on the public layer. We don’t gate documentation. We don’t ask for a phone number. The first useful thing is a copy-paste away. If your email is on a .gov.in, .ac.in, or partnered utility domain, your tier is auto-promoted to Pro on first use. If it’s not, you still get full access to the public endpoints. That’s the deal.

Conformance

Built in conformance with India Energy Stack v0.4.

The India Energy Stack (IES) is the digital public infrastructure being built by the Ministry of Power, with REC Limited as nodal agency, to make India’s energy data interoperable. Architecture v0.4 was published in March 2026; v1.0 is targeted for July 2026.

energymap.in is built in conformance with the published IES architecture. Our APIs follow the v0.4 common data model. Our public registry conforms to v0.4 §p.17. Our Programme Observability dashboard implements v0.4 §pp.26–28.

We are not affiliated with, certified by, or speaking for the IES Taskforce. See our conformance page for the endpoint-by-endpoint mapping, or the Programme Observability dashboard for live rollout signal.

Governance

energymap.in is operated by Saral Systems Council, a Section 8 not-for-profit. The public data layer is funded by foundation grants and institutional sponsors, never by selling user data or charging for access. We publish an annual transparency report.
